Maritime Maintenance Coordinator Parker Towing Company, a leading provider of inland maritime transportation services, is seeking a Maritime Maintenance Coordinator to join our dynamic maintenance team. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maritime Maintenance Coordinator to oversee maintenance operations for our diverse fleet of maritime vessels. Additionally, the ideal candidate must possess and adhere to the following core values: * Integrity * Leadership * Motivation * Competence * Teamwork Responsibilities and Duties: * Maintain comprehensive maintenance logs for all maritime vessel machinery, ensuring accuracy and completeness * Collaborate with the Maintenance Superintendent to develop and execute effective maintenance plans for the entire fleet * Implement and enforce quality control standards to uphold the highest levels of maintenance excellence * Oversee maintenance activities for vessels ranging from 800 HP to 4400 HP, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards * Other tasks as assigned by Maintenance Superintendent Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Proficient in Microsoft office software including Excel, Word, and Outlook * Ability to work with numbers in an accurate and rapid manner * Ability to delegate tasks efficiently and effectively, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment * Strong organizational skills to manage a high volume of information and ensure timely completion of service and repairs * Aptitude for prioritizing maintenance tasks with input from the Maintenance Superintendent, adjusting plans as necessary to accommodate changing demands Qualifications * Previous experience in maritime maintenance or a similar field is highly desirable * Familiarity with maritime regulations and industry standards * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment * Be able to lift and/or move up to 50+ pounds * Some travel required Parker Towing Company is an equal opportunity employer.
