Additionally, the ideal candidate must possess and adhere to the following core values: * Integrity * Leadership * Motivation * Competence * Teamwork Responsibilities and Duties: * Maintain comprehensive maintenance logs for all maritime vessel machinery, ensuring accuracy and completeness * Collaborate with the Maintenance Superintendent to develop and execute effective maintenance plans for the entire fleet * Implement and enforce quality control standards to uphold the highest levels of maintenance excellence * Oversee maintenance activities for vessels ranging from 800 HP to 4400 HP, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards * Other tasks as assigned by Maintenance Superintendent Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Proficient in Microsoft office software including Excel, Word, and Outlook * Ability to work with numbers in an accurate and rapid manner * Ability to delegate tasks efficiently and effectively, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment * Strong organizational skills to manage a high volume of information and ensure timely completion of service and repairs * Aptitude for prioritizing maintenance tasks with input from the Maintenance Superintendent, adjusting plans as necessary to accommodate changing demands Qualifications * Previous experience in maritime maintenance or a similar field is highly desirable * Familiarity with maritime regulations and industry standards * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment * Be able to lift and/or move up to 50+ pounds * Some travel required Parker Towing Company is an equal opportunity employer.
